The Bourns Family Youth Innovation Center is marking its third anniversary in style.

With robots, slime and 3D printing.

The center, tucked inside Riverside’s Arlington Park, hosted these and other special youth activities this week.

Activities on Tuesday, Sept. 24, included robotics and a fun slime-making session. On Monday, Sept. 23, kids learned about aquaponics and sustainable farming. A photography class is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 26.

The center, run by Riverside’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, offers free and fee-based activities.
