“Casino Night With CARE” is this year’s theme for the CARE Project’s annual fundraising gala, to be held 5-10 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, 3400 Market St., Riverside.

The event is a celebration of survivorship and life for those diagnosed with breast cancer and a fundraiser to help support those with breast cancer.

The gala will also celebrate the CARE Project’s 2025 Excellence Awards honorees — Detective Brian Money of Riverside Police Department and Riverside Youth Judo Club; hospice nurse and author Julie McFadden; and Leimamo Taylor, owner of Riverside Airport Cafe. The Excellence Awards go to those who go above and beyond to care for others in the community.

The event includes appetizers, dinner, “funny money” to play in the casino and a silent auction.

Tickets are $100, available through Sept 15 at thecareprojectinc.org under Upcoming Events.
