The National Weather Service issued an updated wind advisory at 5:13 a.m. on Saturday valid from 10 a.m. until Monday, Mar. 3 at 4 p.m. for San Gorgonio Pass Near Banning.
“West winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph expected,” according to the NWS San Diego CA. “There will be a brief break in winds late Saturday night into Sunday morning before picking up again Sunday afternoon.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS said. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
