5 Freeway corridor near Santa Clarita and Northern Ventura County Mountains are included in a wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 1:37 p.m. The advisory is in effect until Tuesday, Mar. 4 at 2 a.m.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA states to anticipate, “North winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” according to the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
