On Thursday at 3:32 p.m. an updated wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Friday, Mar. 7 at 1 a.m. for Western Mojave Desert.
The NWS Las Vegas NV states to expect, “West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” according to the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
