Now in Yucaipa
After a brief delay caused by a broken espresso machine and a few other glitches, Landmark Coffee Roasters has opened its second location.
The new location is at 35009 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa.
This location joins the chain’s other location at 404 E. Redlands Blvd., Redlands.
Return to San Bernardino
Winchell’s Donut House has returned to San Bernardino.
The new location is at 2855 N. Waterman Ave., Suite 100, and is open 24 hours a day.
The chain previously had several locations in the city decades ago.
On the move
New York Pizza Co. has completed its short move across the 91 Freeway in Riverside.
The pizzeria recently moved one block southeast of its former location.
It’s now at 3411 Van Buren Blvd., a former home of Los Tacos Lokos.
The pizzeria was previously located at 3570 Van Buren Blvd.
Hours are 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
Pomona Bravo Burgers rebrands
The former longtime Pomona Bravo Burgers has rebranded.
The restaurant, which retains the same owners, is now SaltyShake Burgers.
A Moreno Valley Bravo Burgers rebranded as Bravos California Fresh years ago, while a Redlands location was renamed Redlands Burger last year.
Bravo Burgers locations remain in Chino and Adelanto.
Tap takeover
Kings Brewing Co. in downtown Upland will host another tap takeover this week.
The brewery will feature brews from Cambridge, Maryland-based RaR Brewing.
Kings will feature eight RaR brews and collaborations — including two triple India pale ale collabs — on tap beginning at noon Friday, Dec. 19.
Kings will also offer five variations of RaR’s Out of Order series in cans.
The takeover will extend into Saturday, Dec. 20 while the brews are available.
Kings is at 296 N. Second Ave.
Chili dog deal continues
There are just a couple more opportunities to get four chili dogs for $4 at Wienerschnitzel.
The hot dog chain has extended its four chili dogs for $4 on Wednesdays deal through the end of the year.
Will the chain keep the discount going into 2026? We’ll find out in a couple of weeks.
Sorry, we’re closed
Vendetta Brewing Co. in Montclair has apparently ceased operations.
On Saturday, the brewery posted to social media a graphic reading “The Last Call” and inviting customers in for one last toast.
Vendetta opened in 2019 as Revolt Brewing Co.
Also, Pomona Mexican restaurant El Jefe has closed temporarily.
The restaurant recently posted on social media that it will be closed a couple of months for “remodeling and revitalizing operations.”
El Jefe is at 101 W. Mission Blvd., Suite 101.
