For years, Riverside County Sheriff’s Deputy Timothy Corlew parked his motorcycle in a certain spot outside Riverside Community Hospital.

Now that spot will forever be linked to the fallen officer.

After Corlew’s death in an on-duty freeway accident in January, the hospital decided to create a memorial parking spot in his honor.

It was revealed Wednesday, March 26, in a ceremony outside the emergency room that included speeches and the unveiling.

A sign — a duplicate of which was given to the Riverside County Sheriff’s station in Jurupa Valley — now marks the space. It says: “Dedicated Motorcycle Parking. In Memory of Deputy Timothy Corlew. End of Watch: January 8, 2025.”
