It was revealed Wednesday, March 26, in a ceremony outside the emergency room that included speeches and the unveiling.
A sign — a duplicate of which was given to the Riverside County Sheriff’s station in Jurupa Valley — now marks the space. It says: “Dedicated Motorcycle Parking. In Memory of Deputy Timothy Corlew. End of Watch: January 8, 2025.”
Corlew was well known to the hospital’s emergency staff for his time working for American Medical Response and later as a deputy, a hospital news release states.
“Tim meant so much to our community, not just as an officer, but as a certified EMT with a history at AMR,” Lacey Page, a pre-hospital liaison nurse, said before the unveiling, according to the release. “His dedication to service extended beyond the badge and his impact reached far and wide.”
Corlew’s wife Mercedes and their children joined hospital officials, American Medical Response representatives and Sheriff’s Capt. Justin Rowan for the unveiling.
