Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino will hold its third annual Can Tree Wonderland Dec. 2 at its warehouse at 2950 Jefferson St., Riverside, with canned food donations transformed into holiday tree displays.
“Can Tree Wonderland is not just a festive display of creativity; it is a beacon of hope for those seeking food assistance,” Carolyn Solar, chief executive officer of Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino, said in a news release. “By coming together to collect food donations and displaying them during these holidays, we are not only raising awareness of the pressing need but also actively working to alleviate it.”
Local businesses, corporations, nonprofits, clubs and other groups are invited to sponsor or participate in the event. Those groups must register by Nov. 3 at FeedingIE.org/cantree.
The can tree structures will be displayed only on Dec. 2, and those attending the event are invited to vote for their favorite tree in the People’s Choice category. Winners will be announced in January.
The donated canned food will support Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino’s Inland Empire hunger relief programs during winter.
Last year, Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino collected 16,750 pounds of food, equivalent to more than 13,500 meals, according to the news release.

Feeding America Riverside | San Bernardino provides food access, emergency relief, education and advocacy to families in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
