A San Bernardino building and a Riverside house are among the historic structures that the public can get a peek at next month.
The Enterprise Building in downtown San Bernardino and the Weber House in Riverside are part of the fourth Annual Doors Open California event.

The statewide program presented by the California Preservation Foundation offers “behind-the-scenes access to historic and culturally significant sites,” a news release states. More than 70 sites will be featured across California in September.
People can get a guided tour of the 1927 San Bernardino building — dubbed “the Inland Empire’s First Skyscraper” – on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 11:15 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. It’s at Third and E streets.
They can check out the Peter J. Weber House, constructed in the 1930s mostly of from discarded materials, in downtown Riverside on Saturday, Sept. 13, and Sunday, Sept. 14., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The program also features other structures in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
Visitors can see any sites that are available on a given weekend for a $20 ticket.

Sept. 13: Cabot’s Pueblo Museum, Desert Hot Springs, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sept. 13 and 14: the Cavanaugh Adobe, Indian Wells
Sept. 13 and 14: Route 66 Resurrection Tour, Needles
Sept. 13: Rock House Tour, Desert Hot Springs, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sites and experiences featured in the Doors Open California program are typically not open or available to the public, the release states.
