Love was already in the air for newlyweds Eric Korshavn and Rhonda Bryant on Friday, Feb. 13, when they stepped outside the Riverside County Assessor-Clerk-Recorder’s Office in downtown Riverside with their newly issued marriage license.
The couple, who have been together for two years and engaged since the early months of their relationship, received an unexpected surprise.

The “Helpful Honda Guys” gave them a $700 “staycation voucher” as part of the company’s Valentine’s Day celebration.
The giveaway was one of several taking place Friday across Southern California.
Newlyweds visiting participating county offices before 1 p.m. had a chance to receive a “honeymoon voucher” up to $2,500 or a $700 “staycation voucher.”
The giveaway was promoted on Instagram with the message, “Love is in the air … and so is a little extra helpfulness,” aimed to surprise couples as they start their married lives.
For Korshavn and Bryant, the unexpected gift added to an already special day, which turned a trip for paperwork into a Valentine’s weekend moment they won’t forget.
