A Riverside post office damaged in a fire more than two years ago is set to reopen later this month.

The Magnolia Center Post Office has been closed since early November 2022 after a fire caused an estimated $88,000 in damages to the building.

Services for PO Box holders and retail customers that moved to the Downtown Post Office after the fire will resume June 30 at the Magnolia Center office, the U.S. Postal Service said in a news release.

A ceremony for the reopening is set for 9:30 a.m. June 30 at the post office, 3861 Sunnyside Drive.

According to the USPS, PO Box holders assigned to Magnolia Center may pick up their mail through 11 a.m. June 28 at the Downtown Post Office, 3890 Orange St. After 11 a.m. June 28, all mail will be transferred to the Magnolia Center office and available for pick up after 9:30 a.m. June 30.

Operating hours at the Magnolia Center office will be 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
