A woman found dead in her Upland home on Tuesday, Dec. 31, was the victim of a homicide, the Upland Police Department said.
Officers conducted a welfare check on the woman around 8:20 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 2000 block of W. Arrow Highway when she did not show up for work, police said in a social media post.
Officers looked through a window and saw the 33-year-old injured and unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional details, including her name, cause of death and any suspect information, were available Thursday.
